Privacy Policy

What We Collect

We collect anonymous, non-identifying aggregate analytics via Plausible Analytics. This includes page views and general referrer information such as whether someone arrived from Google.

If you explicitly save or share a recommendation, we store the recommendation output needed to create a share link. That saved pick expires automatically.

We do not store raw conversation transcripts, names, IP addresses, device identifiers, or hotel/destination details inside cookies.

What We Don't Collect

  • No analytics cookies or tracking cookies
  • No names, user accounts, or raw email addresses for core hotel recommendations
  • No IP address storage or device fingerprinting
  • No behavioral tracking such as scroll depth, visit counts, or session replay
  • No raw conversation transcript storage on our servers

Functional Cookie

We use a single functional cookie to remember your most recent hotel recommendation when you explicitly save it. This cookie contains no personal information - only a random reference code that links to your saved pick. It expires after 30 days. We do not use any other cookies.

This cookie is set only after an explicit save, share, or copy action. It is not used for analytics, advertising, or cross-site tracking.

Third-Party Services

We work with a small set of trusted services to operate PickOneAlready:

Anthropic (Claude API)

Processes conversations to generate hotel recommendations. Inputs are not used for model training, and Anthropic may retain inputs temporarily for abuse monitoring under its current policy.

Vercel

Hosting provider. Standard infrastructure logs are retained per Vercel's policy. We do not use them for user profiling.

Plausible Analytics

Cookie-free, privacy-first analytics. No personal data collected and no cross-site tracking.

Booking.com

When you follow an affiliate fallback link, you leave PickOneAlready and visit Booking.com. They have their own privacy policy. We receive only anonymous attribution data for affiliate reporting.

LiteAPI

Powers our booking page and real-time hotel pricing. Search and booking details are sent only as needed to retrieve availability or complete a booking.

Upstash (Redis)

Stores share links, temporary caches, and limited booking recovery data with automatic expiration.

Children

PickOneAlready is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.

California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA)

We do not sell or share personal information. The limited data we process is used only to operate the service and fulfill user-requested actions such as creating a share link or recovering an in-progress booking.

You may request deletion of your data by emailing us at the address below.

Affiliate Disclosure

PickOneAlready earns commissions when you book through our recommendation links via affiliate partners. This commission does not affect the price you pay. Recommendations are based on your stated preferences, not on commission rates.
